We’re Looking for a Master Woodworker to Join Our Team

If you love working with wood, thrive on creative challenges, and take pride in crafting one-of-a-kind pieces, we want to meet you. Hudson Valley Sauna is growing, and we’re looking for someone who’s not just skilled, but passionate, reliable, and fun—because we like to get sh*t done, but we also like to enjoy the process.

  • A true craftsman—someone who knows finished woodwork inside and out.
  • Someone who loves a challenge and enjoys pushing the limits of design.
  • A creative problem solver with an artistic eye.
  • A team player with a great sense of humor—we work hard, but we keep it fun.
  • Must be fluent in English and able to communicate clearly.
  • Experience with custom builds, fine woodworking, and unique designs.

We’re Hiring: Assistant to the Owners (Part-Time, Growth Role)

Hudson Valley Sauna is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Assistant to the Owners. This is a part-time position to start, with the intention of growing into a full-time Executive Assistant role. Down the line, there is potential to grow further into management — but first and foremost, we’re looking for someone committed to supporting and running alongside us day-to-day.

Pay: $20–25/hr (based on experience)
Location: In-person, Hudson Valley (must have reliable car for errands; mileage reimbursed)

What you’ll do:

Assist both owners with a wide range of tasks — no two days will look the same

Support social media content and scheduling

Work in GSuite (Docs, Sheets, Drive)

Light QuickBooks support (a plus but not required)

Run errands as needed (gas + mileage paid)

Anticipate needs, stay two steps ahead, and help keep projects moving smoothly

What we’re looking for:

Extremely detail-oriented, organized, and Type A by nature

Comfortable working under pressure and shifting gears quickly

Proactive — able to see what’s needed before being asked

Experience with social media and GSuite; QuickBooks a plus

Local, with reliable transportation

Someone seeking long-term growth — this starts as part-time, grows into a full-time Executive Assistant, and has the potential to evolve into management over time. (If you’re just looking for a short-term stepping stone, this isn’t the role for you.)
